Many men and women begin to suffer in their 40s from depression and anxiety, insomnia, decreased libido, low energy and difficulty losing weight. Many are suddenly diagnosed with blood pressure and thyroid problems, diabetes and high cholesterol. Much of this is due to the loss of hormones that begins in our 30s — and the loss of these protective, balanced hormones increases breast cancer risk in women and prostate cancer risk in men.
There is a huge difference between synthetic and bio-identical hormones. Bio-identical hormones come from a natural plant source and bring back the protective balance we had before rapid aging begins. Estrogen and/or testosterone pellets are placed under the skin and last for months — no more daily creams, patches or shots. We cannot stop the hands of time, but we can age better.

Testosterone replacement for men
How often will I need treatments?
Women typically need a treatment every 3–4 months; men every 6 months. After your first treatment, blood work is done 6 weeks later to make sure levels are optimal. Sometimes a booster is needed between treatments.
Is there downtime?
Because the pellets are placed under the skin, avoid lower-body exercise for 3 days so they stay in place, and do not submerge in water for 3 days. You will receive full care instructions before and after each treatment.
Does it hurt?
A local anesthetic is used so you feel no discomfort during the procedure. Once it wears off you may feel slight discomfort, and a cold pack for a few hours helps.
